I think I'm going to be using one of the dining plans, so I'm trying to figure out which CS restaurants would be good choices for my family and I have a DD who is a slightly picky eater

She won't touch burgers or hotdogs and some of the menus for restuarantosaurus list hotdogs & burgers and some of the other ones I've seen list chicken nuggets and cheeseburgers. Which is it? :confused3

She really wants to eat there, because she is fascinated by the theme.

I guess though that if it is hotdogs & burgers for kids, I could convince DH to order the adult chicken nuggets and swap them with her...

Yep, nice little green pail with a yellow shovel. Not printed or decorated with anything, but still a nice touch. The PB&J is a smuckers uncrustable. We swapped out nuggets from the adult meal for a kids burger on more than one occasion, too!

oh thanks for that. And DD will be so happy about the PB&J, since her school keeps uncrustables on hand if the kids don't like what's served for hot lunch... and since she's a picky eater, she's quite used to them! ;)

And I'm sure the kids will love the pail :)

At CBR we were able to get kids meals without the pail for $2 less, in case anyone is interested. It would probably be the same at Restaurantosaurus. I asked one evening because DD already had three pails and we just didn't want another one. I was pleasantly surprised to find that getting the meal without it saved me $2. :goodvibes

I've not tried the uncrustables on our picky kiddo yet. I'll have to do that. Last year we purchased a loaf of bread at the resort gift shop. I had packed Jif to go's. We had the dining plan and if I thought there was not going to be nuggets offered, I'd put a couple slices of bread in a baggie and put it in my jacket pocket with a Jif-to-go.

At the table service places, he did eat the fruit and the dessert, but he didn't care much for the entrees offered. On the menus fruit and dessert are both listed as desserts, but they let our son substitute fruit as his appetizer, and he had the sundae for dessert.

Have fun planning your trip!
