I don't know why am I getting so frantic about this...so, please someone lend me your knowledge! :listen: I am trying to figure out ahead of time which night to book Palos...without missing the lobster at another restaurant. I would hate to book Palos on that night and miss it...or worse yet, I can picture myself eating twice. :sad2: Do you eat the traditional restaurant menus the first three nights...and then begin the "specility" menus? Please confirm oh wise ones!
I thank you and so does my waistline! :flower1: :boat: :flower1:

I'm assuming you are talking about the 7 day. I believe Lobster is on Thursday.

We had lobster on Thursday of our 7 day cruise as well.

Yes, you eat the traditional restaurant menu's on the first three nights. Lobster is on semi-formal night, which was Thursday for us. I think inkkognito's website has the menu's and better explains the rotations.

Happy sailing! :boat: and Happy eating, too!

TraSee, I really fretted over this one too! All the menus on www.dcltribute.com looked so good, I didn't want to miss a single night in the dining rooms!

As it turned out, the menu selection in the dining rooms was always spectacular, but the end product didn't always live up to expectations. So don't worry about missing anything...also, you can always go back next year!

I was on the Eastern last month, and semi-formal/Captain's Gala menu was on Thursday. Sunday night is formal night, Tuesday was also a special menu night - the Pirates in the Caribbean - alot of fun, and the food was great!

I think you can't go wrong, but if you're still struggling, go with either Wednesday night or Friday night.

P.S. We had early seating, so ate just a little with the children at our regular seating, and had a late reservation at Palo's. That's one way to really get to sample everything!

Also, I highly recommend Palo brunch, offered on "at sea" days!!!!!

Have a great trip!!! :boat:

i totally agree with PoohJen....I am soooooo happy I chose Wednesday night for Palos because my dining rotation was scheduled to be at Parrot Cay (my least favorite dining room) and the menu was "International". I'm not too thrilled with the International menu because I have high standards for native food and I didn't want to take the chance of being disappointed.

They also serve Lobster in Palo on Semi-Formal night (Thursday). You won't miss the Lobster anywhere, except maybe Topsiders, on Thursday night.

I always enjoy eating in the dining room better than Palos but if you want lobster, you usually can get them at the adult beach when you land on Cataway Cay. For the first two cruises we went for lunch at the adult beach on CC and got lobster sandwiches (half of a tail). It was a first come first serve deal.

As far as what other nights not to book a Palo's dinner, I'd recommend that you do not miss your first night at Animator's Palate.

For first-timers, it's a nice little show at dinner.
