Restaurant Teppanyaki in Epcot ~ Honest reviews

It is one of our favorites!

We ate there for lunch in May, without PS and were seated immediately. It was okay, it was similar to our local Japanese grill. Nothing special, but it was a soothing atmosphere and I was craving some veggies and low-fat food after a week of "gorging."

Our server was not real friendly and our chef did not perform well - which is usually key in this type of place.

If you've never been to this type of restaurant before, I would recommend trying it. If you have been to Benihana or something similar, you may be disappointed.

Teppanyaki is very good....but pretty much the same as any other Japanese teppan/hibachi grill restaurant. Where we used to live there really weren't any restaurants like this....so it was a great experience for us. If you have a local Benihana or something similar, it probably won't be anything different or new to you. I have to say that it was pretty much the same deal as we experienced at the two other Japanese grill restaurants we've been to...they all do the onion soup, salad, the fun little show of cooking the meal, etc...the sauces are the same and everything.

If its something you've never tried before, its certainly a thing to try! I think the food is generally "safe" even for picky eaters...nothing too exotic, unless you order some sushi or other such thing.
