This is DH and my first visit to Universal and we will only be spending 1 day at Universal Studios (not going to IoA)

We like eating at Tony's, Primetime and Alfredo's for lunch at WDW. With that in mind...any simular suggestions for lunch at US or Citywalk??

Thanks

We have had great meals at both Hard Rock Cafe and Margaritaville. Both these places have great atmospheres too. The Pig Sandwitch at HRC and the Cheeseburger in Paradise at Margaritaville are two of my favorites.

The kids and I always eat at Mel's. Its just hamburgers and hot dogs with a 50s car hop atmosphere.
Flyfly's mom swears by the BBQ chicken at LaBamba.
Either of these are in US and don't require a walk to Citiwalk. NBA City has better quality lunches as well as the other Citywalk locations already mentioned.

We've had some GREAT lunches at Lombard's Landing in US. We also enjoy HRC and Latin Quarter for lunch in City Walk.

Thank You for your suggestions!

I found the menu's of the one's mentioned in this thread...they all sound good ! ! !

We always seem to end up at Finnegans in US. They have pretty good food and the atmosphere is nice. They even have entertainment (one man band) most days.

By the way, if you are only doing US for one day and have not been there in a long time you probably don't want to go to city walk restaurants because of time constraints. Staying in the park will maximize your park time. You can always go back to city walk on a day you are not going to any theme parks.

I've had fab meals at HRC. Would also recommend Finnegans and their Irish Stew and for dessert the trifle. Lombards Landing is good for a quickie too!:D

Hardrock Cafe is our favorite place to eat while at Universal. It is located just outside Universal, so it is conveniently located. There is an extrance/exit next to Nickelodeon that takes you right to Hardrock Cafe. Since you will be at Universal for only one day, you may prefer to do a quick lunch at a restaurant like Monster Cafe or La Bamba inside the Studios, then have dinner at Hardrock after the Studios close. Finnegan's is good, but you will spend precious time there when you could be shooting aliens at MIB.

You have to go to Mythos at IOA. It's pricey, but so worth it. The atmosphere, service and food are top notch! For Italian go to PBH and eat at Mama Della's. It is unbelievable food and the atmosphere adds to it!
