We have the dining plan and reservations planned for our end of February trip. We have only been to Disney once before almost 9 years ago. We have two children ages 13 and 11, boy and girl. I have ADRs at Be Our Guest, breakfast and dinner, do I really need both? Excited about 1900 Park Fare, disappointed we could not get an ADR at Ohana. Any other suggestions? My kids are not picky eaters so we are open to all ideas!

Restaurants we love:
Trail's End at Ft. Wilderness--what's not to love? Boat ride across Bay Lake to FW, yummy all-you-care-to-eat comfort food, relaxing setting, and if you time it right, you can watch Wishes and the Electrical Water Pageant on the FW beach. I seriously love Trail's End.

Beaches and Cream at Beach Club--diner food and amazing ice cream

Sci-Fi Dine-in at DHS--you get to eat in a car at a "drive-in". Our kids were similar ages and loved it!

San Angel Inn in the Epcot WS--cool atmosphere and yummy Mexican food.

Liberty Tree Tavern in MK--food is yummy! And our DS loved being able to basically get Thanksgiving dinner on vacation.

Enjoy!!!

BOG is one of my personal favorites but feel two reservations isn't necessary.

BOMA is also a must do of mine whenever I plan a trip to Disney.

What kind of cuisine are you interested in?

Any suggestions of breakfast vs dinner at BOG? I considered Boma but concerned transportation to and from the yacht club may be too time consuming without a car. We are open to a variety of cuisines. We like Thai food but also a great steak so as long as the food is tasty we are happy.

Are you on the Disney Dining Plan? If you are, I would definitely go for dinner. You'll be getting more out of your credit during dinner than breakfast.

Definitely seconding the Beaches & Cream and Boma suggestions, especially since they're not picky eaters! We LOVED our Cape May Cafe breakfast (character breakfast buffet, super delicious, I wrote about our meal there here). Since you're staying at Yacht (I think?) Beaches & Cape May would be convenient too. We also really enjoyed breakfast at Trattoria al Forno on the boardwalk (Mickey waffles with espresso cream, so much yum).

I've only had lunch at BOG but the breakfast menu and dinner menus are very different, overall the experience is really great too!

I also love Thai food but that sadly hasn't found much representation around Disney. You could try meals around Animal Kingdom though, I think AK and AKL have the most adventurous food.

Kona Cafe at the poly has great steaks and amazing desserts, it also has really good sushi if your family likes that (I wrote about our meal there here). Yachtsman has our absolute favorite steaks (and is also at Yacht Club) if you're up for a more expensive meal. Raglan Road at DS has great everything and is really fun (live Irish dancing inside, great patio for people watching outside).

Yes staying at the Yacht Club and we have the dining plan. The access to so many restaurants us amazing, but also a bit overwhelming! :)

I would go to Kona (Poly)or the Wave (Contemporary) for breakfast because they are delish and then do BOG for dinner. As for transportation to/from Boma, you can take the bus from AK to AKL and then head to DS or another park.

Oh, some of the other choices we like are Via Napoli (EP), Sci-Fi (DHS), LTT lunch (MK) and Raglan Road (DS).

Cancel the BOG breakfast reservation-dinner is much better.

Some of my favorites are T-Rex and Crystal Palace. I suggest Teppan Edo for you as well.

Dinner at Be Our Guest is great - I think your kids will really like that.

For breakfast, have you considered Kona, The Wave, Ohana, or Whispering Canyon? All fun restaurants (well, I've never been to the Wave), a short distance from MK.

I don't think you need the ADR for Breakfast at BOG. I mean for a quick service location it is extremely over priced. They charge like $10 for a bowl of cereal! Dinner is a much better option IMHO. The places we love is pre park opening for Crystal Palace but usually you have to book that at 180 days but you might get lucky. I love their Puffed French Toast there! We also like Kona Cafe (seriously amazing breakfast, lol). Garden Grill is another good choice but I've only been there for dinner. We are excited to try their breakfast next time around. Sci Fi Dine In is another cool place. We also like Beaches & Cream ice cream. I probably wouldn't eat there again but I may stop by there for ice cream before illuminations or something on our next trip bc their ice cream is really really good! There are so many good places to choose its hard to decide on which ones, LOL
