Help me to decide what Restarants to book?

Visiting Universal Studios for a couple of days later this year and was looking into which Restaurants to visit while inside the Parks. At Universal I'm undecided between Lombards and Finnegan's Bar & Grill. While over at Islands of Adventure I'm considering Mythos or Confisco Grille. I keep hearing good things about Mythos but the cuisine looks fairly standard from reading the menu. Can anyone offer advice?

We ate at Mythos and Lombards landing..Mythos was great food and good value.Lombards was meh food and overpriced .Mythos had the better of the 2 atmospheres as well.

I like Mythos at IOA and Finnegan's at USF.

i love everything about Finnegans at the studios.

good variety on the menu.


Lombards i have dined at and wasn't wowed.
the food is good and i would return there but if the choice was between lombards and finnegans, hands down .........would choose Finnegans.


at Mythos, there are some menu choices i love and the rest is meh to me.

i always look at the appetizers first and get a few of them if i only want something light.

i enjoy the ambiance of Mythos and can find something there when i go there with others.

Confisco Grille has basic foods.
I have no complaints eating there.
in fact on my October trip, i by passed Mythos for Confisco Grille.

check the menus out to see what looks good for you.
and check again before you leave in case there are any changes on the menu.

i'm at the darkside for 10 nights/11 days.
i try to hit the special places i enjoy the most, try a few places i have missed the year prior and then do hit the usual "i know i love the food here" places.

HRC and Latin Quarters falls into the last category above.

Mythos is a must-do! The atmosphere is wonderful! I preferred their food to Emeril's, actually... the Risotto of the Day was superb, and the Chocolate Banana Gooey Cake was amazing! Confisco Grille was great too, but can't compare to the overall experience of Mythos.

If you like Harry Potter, then definitely the Three Broomsticks/ Hogs Head. We also like Margaritaville in City Walk.

This will be our first visit to a Universal park, we are going to IOA! I'm looking for recommendations for lunch and dinner. We will have two young children with us. We were considering CityWalk for dinner when we head home. Whats the proximity to IOA? Thanks!

Check the dining sticky at the top of the board
We love MYTHOS at IOA..Confiscos Grille is good too.
For CS we love Thunder Falls Terrace in Jurassic Park at IOA

When you exit IOA your in citywalk.

Not many exciting choices inside of IOA, though we did hit Mythos last night and it was definitely good and great scenery. When you walk outside of the park you are right in Citywalk, and there are tons of choose there. We ate at Margaritaville one night and it was really good.

I second Mythos and Margsritaville! Make reservations using opentable for Mythos, it shortens your wait
