I will be celebrating my 28th birthday at WDW in November (YIPEE) I'm very excited about it and the decision of where to eat was left up to me. I was thinking Whispering Canyon Cafe. We ate there on our most recent trip and we loved it. The staff was so fun and the food was great (IMO). I will be there with my parents, little sister, aunt, and uncle and very good friend. Does anyone have any other suggestions?? Does anyone know what happens at Whispering Canyon on a birthday?? If it's too outrageous I may not want to do it. Any ideas or suggestions would be great. :thumbsup2

I'm celebrating my 28th at WDW, too! But in Sept =) I chose Jiko, but it's a very different restaurant type compared to Whispering Canyon LOL.

I think you should be prepared to have something crazy happen at WCC for your birthday, depending upon your waiter. I think it would be a lot of fun! Another fun place might be 50s PT.

You're going to get 20 different answers from 20 different people.

If it were me, I'd go to Cal Grill. It's my favorite restaurant on the EARTH!

Looks like you're looking for a more laid back place for your birthday meal...Here are a few ideas:

Liberty Tree Tavern..all you can eat character meal, thanksgiving style

50's Prime Time...get picked on a bit in good fun and have a few laughs

Ohana...another all you can messy extravangza..treat yourself to a lapu lapu

Rainforest Cafe...Cool atmosphere

Sci-fi....not very helpful if you want a lot of togetherness as everyone is facing the same way at most of the tables..there are a few tables you can request that are regular..but who wants that? BUT the theme is definitely cool

Boma...eat a few new dishes

San Angel Inn....my fave place on property, very beautiful and good food

Teppanyaki....its fun watching the chef throw shrimp in the air

Marrakesh...the theme is fun, the food is good, and the belly dancer is fun to watch...maybe she'll take you to the dance floor and show you a thing or two.

Ok, maybe I like too many restaurants! lol good luck
