Is it assumed you get free refills in America, or do you have to check beforehand? I'm trying to price up things and we've got a few family style meals booked that state they include 'A soft drink'. Would this be just the one, or does it generally include refills as well?

Generally, a fountain drinks will be free refills. Specialty type drinks will be per glass like sparkling water - it usually states on the menus but if you are not sure just ask :thumbsup2

Thank you. It's just I felt awkward last year when the servers whipped away our empty glasses to refill them without really checking. We ended up with almost full glasses left on the table, so I wanted to check whether we were paying extra for them or not.
