Is it possible to make ADR at restaurants in the Magic Kingdom during the MNSSHP?

I've been told that if you do not have wristbands for mnsshp you would be turned away at check in after the park closes. So if you make ressies for 6:50 I guess you can get seated but not if its 7:05. I would verify this with another cm though cause I would hate to be treated like a cheater in front of my kids. They don't want people who haven't paid trying to stick around for parade and fireworks. I know they ask to see wrist bands on anyone who doesn't have them visible. So yes you can make the ADR's but you may not be able to get seated. I know you cannot ride anything or buy anything without the wristbands. HTH

Were you asking if you could make ressies duing MNSSHP if you weren't going to MNSSHP or are you simply asking if you can make ADR during MNSSHP?

You can definitely make ressies during MNSSHP at places like LTT. Make sure when you call that you ask for the special events calendar. Otherwise the latest time they give you may be before 5 p.m. I did 2 years ago(without mentioning special calendar) and the best I could get was 4:10. After calling back and requesting special calendar I was able to get 5:05.

Last year I made ressies for LTT at 6:30 just before MNSSHP started at 7. I didn't know if we would be going to MNSSHP or to any of the parks that day. Turns out we didnt' go so I cancelled the ressie that same a.m. The CM on the phone was like "Are you really sure you want to cancel?" I did. So some very lucky family was able to grab that ressie at the last minute.

You can only make adrs for MK restaurants during MNSSHP if you are attending the party. If you are not attending the party dining won't let you book past park closing time .

If closing time is 7pm, what time do you think you would be safe with a reservation? 6:30?

Like PP said, they cut it off much earlier than that... around 5. They don't want people with an ADR time at 6:30 finishing their dinner at 8 (perfect timing to catch the Boo-to-You parade). If you are attending the party, you can book for 6:30.

They will ask you when you book ADRs but anyone can lie and say yes, but they may very well check for your tickets at check-in to the podium.

I'm not saying to do this but I did booked last year during MNSSHP, without having tickets,for 6:30. There was no mention of needing tickets to eat there that late. We didn't do it so I don't know if we would have had a problem at check in.

If you have party tix yes you can make an adr for party time..Have you done the party before? I don't recommend a sit down dinner during the party .It does take a lot of time. Last time I did MVMCP I had to wait 45 mins PAST my adr time.By the time I got dinner and the check straightened and outin the park, we missed the parade ( 1st one) and Wishes had already started.That is like 2hrs of party time gone.

I would recommend if you want to eat at CP the night of MNSSHP that you make ADRs for before 7 (official party start time) I would try to get 5 p.m. You should be able to get into MK at 4 so that would give you plenty of time. I would call at 90 days (plus 10) to grab the best times. Definitely mention to the CM at Dining to check the special event calendar. I can't stress this enough!

They are hard ticket events in the Magic Kingdom that occur on specific nights. MNSSHP is Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party (select nights in September and October), and MVMCP is Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (November and December). They close the MK to the general public for the evening and have several fun events including a special seasonal parade and fireworks show
