we are going on the Fantasy Western Caribbean
March 4th

We are on the second sitting. As I am a planner we don't want to miss any restaurants and also want to book remi and palo. How do we know what rotation of restaurants we will have.

You won't know for sure what your rotation is until you check in at the port.

I'd suggest you go ahead and make your Palo/Remy reservations, and if they conflict with the rotation you get, you can change them once onboard (either the Palo/Remy reservations or the rotation).

You can also call DCL and have a request placed on your reservation for a specific rotation, if you wish. It's not guaranteed if you do, but most times the request is honored.

Thanks for reply.
So can you start with any restaurant
Don't know which Western itinerary you are on, but the rotations are either 1231231 OR 1231223. With the order of the dining rooms being Animator's followed by Enchanted Garden followed by Royal Court followed by Animator's, etc, etc, etc.

So the availble rotations could either be:
ERAERAE
RAERAER
AERAERA

or

ERAERRA
RAERAAE
AERAEER

Somewhere on these threads years ago, there was information about the rotations being allotted according to who is traveling in your party: adults only, adults with kids, adults with teens, seniors with kids, etc. After I learned that, sure enough our next two cruises we were allotted dining rotations that fell into those categories. Not sure if they still do it that way though with the bigger ships.

Time was that the late seating on one of the rotations was sort of designated as "adult-only", and you'd find only adult parties on that one. While a couple of the early seatings were mostly families with young children. The other seatings/rotations were a mix.

That's not done any longer. I believe there were just too many requests for specific rotations/servers/seatings to be able to accommodate all those plus figure out how to make the adult-only/young family groups concentrate more in specific seatings.

How odd -- I typed the word party in my original post and it created that symbol instead of the word party! LOL

So which rotation schedule goes with which Western itinerary? The one we're doing is Port Canaveral - At Sea - Cozumel - Grand Cayman - Falmouth - At Sea - CC - Port Canaveral
