Our first day of arrival was dec. 21 but since we arrived late we only had dinner.
Dinner was at Todds Blue Zoo in the Dolphin.
The food was good.
We had the Littleneck clams flatbread, 1 person had the clam chowder, 1 person had a dozen of the raw clams for appetizers. All pretty good.
For dinner two of us split a swordfish dish which was just alright while the other person had a salmon dish was she said was good. Overall we would give this restaurant a B.
Dec. 22
We grabbed a few snacks at dolphins fountain soda shop and had dinner that night at Mama Melroses which like usual was Excellent. We had the calmari for appetizer. One had a side ceasar salad. One had the eggplant dish and two of us split the four cheese flatbread. By the way they have the BEST strawberry daiquiris. Overall we give this restaurant an A.
Dec. 23
We had a PS set for donalds breakfast and to be honest the highlight was the character interaction. Especially Donald he was so ever delightful. But the food unfortunately was basically mediocre. Overall a C- for food quality and A- for character interaction.
Dinner was at Tonys town square and again this was a major dissappointment like donalds since we have previously liked the restaurant. The food was just horrible and we had to send it back numerous times. Finally we just gave up and went to downtown and got dessert. Overall an F for food quality.
Dec. 24
Again we grabbed lunch at dolphins fountain soda shop and they do indeed have the best whole wheat grilled cheeses. Overall an A-
For dinner we ate at Liberty Tree Tavern which like usual was outstanding. The food and our server was just incredible. This has to be the best character meal on disney property. Overall A++++
Dec. 25
Due to the weather being so bad we stayed in and got something small from the foodcourt. Then we proceeded later that evening to go to downtown. We had dinner in Planet hollywood which was pretty good. Overal quality between a B and B-. We then saw Meet the Fockers which was so GOOD
Dec. 26
Again a snack in the soda shop-
Then we had once again dinner at Mama Melroses since it went over so well previously. Again the food was just great and the best italian it seems on property. This time food was an A
Dec. 27
We had a Ps for Crystal Palace in the magic kingdom. We have never done this one before so it was a bit of surprise. The food was much better than Chef mickeys, tremendously better than Donalds and alittle better than the beach club character breakfast. The place is so beautiful inside and the food was pretty good for abuffet. They also had an omelet and egg station and also many choices. Overall a B for food quality.
For dinner we did the candelight processional package at nine dragons. Boy was the show nice. Our narrator was gary sinese. Anyway nine dragons was such a good pick. Even though our server left alot to be desire, the food was outstanding that night. He wanted to keep rushing and kept saying its the holiday we are busy you know. He even refused to make a dish not spicy with black pepper cause he said we are too busy to accomodate. Well this is when I got real mad since I felt I paid and should be accomodated due to it being medically necessary. My mom unfortunately cannot stand spicy food due to having bad stomach problems. Well after alot of complaining he said let me talk to my manager. Well he gave in but then threw it in our face. Well anyway the springrolls, dim sum, dumplings were all so good. Our entrees included honey sesame chicken which was the best I ever had tasted, shrimp with stir fried vegetables was ever so tasty and the steak dish was so delicious. Also for dessert I thought we have a choice but he did not even ask he just took our dishes from dinner and basically threw this piece of choc cake in front of us. I was quite angry but did not want to fight. I do think its wrong because someone in my party needed to get a sugar free dessert and was not even given the option. Meanwhile they had no sugar added choc mousee on their dessert list. So in the end one person in my party missed out on dessert. Food quality was an A but server quality was a D
Dec. 28 was our last day here and boy were we depressed. We did however have breakfast in Fresh in the Dolphin. Can I say how good this meal was. It is if not the best breakfast I have ever eaten on property. From the homeade made to order pancakes to the pastries everything was ever so delightful. This was a hit for all of us. A++

I hope you enjoyed my reviews as much as I enjoyed most of the restaurants. We cant wait to go back to mama melroses, nine dragons minus the server, liberty tree tavern and Fresh!!

Great reviews ~ Thanx for sharing.

The server in Nine Dragons sounded a nightmare, glad you still managed to have a good time.

Would you mind giving more details about the problems at Tony's? We were thinking of eating there our next trip.

Well the menu seemed to change quite a bit from the last time we tried it. Also the food was horrible and tasteless. I am not saying your experience will be that way but I hope its better than ours!!

I would have given service an F at the Nine Dragons!! AND I would have spoken to a manager AND I would not have tipped him!! :earseek:
BUt that is just me! :earboy2:

It sounds like a great trip and you have me thinkin' about Mama Melrose for our Oct trip!

Great reviews. Thanks for taking the time to write them. :D

So glad to hear that you distiguished the server from the food and atmosphere. I always tend to leap to the defense of restaurants, but I feel even with the holidays--Disney is busy regardless and he was rude. The pressure gets heavy for them so keep that in mind and taking out your frustrations in the "tip" really is the way I am able to send a quiet and yet in your face message. I might have to put this on my list though of places to go.
thanks for sharring.

Unfortunately the OP was doing the CP package. Tax and tip are included I believe. Sorry you had a bum waiter. We had one of the best waiters ever at LeCellier on the CP package and we tipped him more because of that.
