Do you like to bake? What is your favorite thing to bake?

Since I missed this yesterday....
I love to bake! mostly cookies, but I also love making cakes, cheesecakes...yum. In fact, I had planned to bake yesterday, but couldn't because we lost power.

What was the last movie you saw in a theater?
Are there any movies coming out that you are looking forward to?

I think the last one I saw in theaters was Disney's Christmas Carol -in 3D:3dglasses

I want to see Alice in Wonderland and Sorcerer's Apprentice - both look really good!

As per QOTD yesterday... I love to bake. On Sat did up some Welsh cakes, a Sugar free cake (with, dates, raisins and prunes...YUM!!), and a 7up cake that is a sugar bomb (4 cups of sugar in it YIKES!!). All was well received at the exec meeting we had for one of the car clubs we belong to yesterday.
As for the current QOTD the last movie we saw was Alvin and the Chipmunks the Squeakwell (I've still got their high pitched songs in my head, but the kids loved it!).

Last movie I saw in a theather - Mama Mia.

So far have not seen any that I want to go see.

We last saw Sherlock Holmes...we both thought it was pretty good.

I'm more inclined to see Alice than DH is. I may wait until it gets in to the second run theater around us.

I love to make chocolate chip cookies for my DGC!:goodvibes For ourselves I like to make Blueberry (so easy, no peeling:) and apple pies.

What is the last sit down restaurant you ate at? What did you have?

Olive Garden, last night, chicken parm..it was delicious. Tonight we're going to Red Lobster.

The Rainforest Cafe in AK last Nov. I love to cook so we don't eat out.

I can't remember, but we are going out on Saturday to chef Raymond Blanc's restaurant Le Manoir Quat' Saisons for a special meal. Not sure what I will have yet as I haven't seen an up to date menu.

We just ate at Chili's tonight.....I had the Quesadilla Explosion Salad.
So nice here to have so many restaurants close by, I am so not used to that!!

Do you go to a salon to get your hair cut? Colored?
Do you always go to the same person?

I go to Holiday Hair once a year, I tend to get it cut real short and my hair just doesn't grow that much. I color it myself and no I don't go to the same person each time.

I go to a salon I really like that is about 45 minutes from me, but in the big mall :teeth: so I can have a shopping trip at the same time.
I used to go to the same person, but don't anymore.
Used to have them color my hair, but don't anymore.....one of my cost saving things.

Just tried a new salon here in AZ. Seemed nice. We'll see.

I colour my own hair, I really need to go to a hairdressers but am still looking for a good one near where I live.

I will answer just yesterday's question. We ate at the Biergarten Saturday. Flower & Garden in full swing and beautiful, of course.
Also was able to get the DVC F&G pin. :cool1: (Love the flamingos.)

Nancy -- I bought a few PI banners/flags. Have no idea what I am going to do with them. But had to have a piece of history.

I'm cheap--I go to Super Cuts for haircuts--most of the time I pay about $12 for a cut. I've always done my own color. In the 20 or so years I've been doing it, only once did I hate the color--last November. It was just too red. :lmao: My usual dye jobs look so normal most people never knew I did it. They do now! Even my 7 yr old niece took one look at me and said "did you do that on purpose?" :lmao:

SuperCuts, with a coupon, and for highlighting, also with a coupon, and not the same person. Still expensive, for me, and the little hair I have left!
