Our second day at WDW brought us to PSB for breakfast.

PSB at Akershus was very nice. We made ADRs for today (Tuesday) for a party of six many months ago. Yesterday, two more family members joined us unexpectedly. We were able to add them to the reservation with no problem. We were 'announced' at the door within five minutes of checking in. Then, we met Belle (yellow dress) in the welcome area with a Disney photographer. Our CM Martin took very good care of the group. During and after breakfast, we met Snow White, Jasmine, Aurora, and Mary Poppins. The food was ok - cinnamon rolls, biscuits, bacon, sausage, scrambled eggs, and fried potatoes served all-you-can-eat family style.

During breakfast, we were given the chance to buy copies of the photo taken with Belle by the Disney photographer. It came in a cardboard Akershus frame, with one 5x7 and four 4x6 copies for $31.

The princesses were very gracious and took time to interact with my DD6 and DD7. Belle and Aurora remembered them from yesterday when we saw them in the World Showcase. Aurora playfully teased DD7 (who was in her Ariel dress) about whether Flounder was behaving these days. Mary Poppins was fun - DD6 asked if Ms. Poppins rode her umbrella to Akershus from the United Kingdom showcase. Mary said of course, then made my daughters (and the whole table) giggle by asking DD6 where she lived and if she had flown an umbrella down to WDW. Snow White was really great. She has really done her homework. It seemed like she had just stepped off the movie screen - she was Snow White right down to the giggles, facial expressions, and dainty hand movements. DD7 asked what the poison apple tasted like, and Snow White told her that she took a bite, then everything happened so fast, and the next thing she knew there was a Prince kissing her. Snow White also made special notice of the fact that DD6 was wearing her Snow White outfit. Just a simple question to the characters seemed like it made them a little more interactive beyond name introductions with the kids and a photo opportunity. Once our DDs asked them questions, they seemed to spend a little extra time at the table, which made the event all the more special for them (and us).

PSB was very nice and I would recommend it. The food was decent, not great / not bad. The price of admission (about $100 for four of us) was worth the cost for the fun time with the characters.

Thanks for the great review. Although it gets a lot of negative reviews here, our family has enjoyed PSB twice. The first time was when they were still in the testing phase. My DD, then 4, was chosen to be the guest princess of the day & help open the breakfast. We were seated at the first table where the princesses all greeted her by name as they approached the table. She also got a Magical Moments certificate. It was great! The second time, DS had just turned 3 & he thought Snow White was all that & then some. When she visited our table & we told her that DS wanted to be one of her dwarfs, she played along beautifully. She was the first princess we saw & she gave DS a big kiss on the cheek. All of the other princesses followed suit & he left with major kissy face. It was adorable!

I agree that the food is average, but the character interaction is great!!

When they take your picture with Belle, can you take your own photo of her with your child as well, and not buy theirs?

We went for lunch last week. You can take your own pictures with all of the Princesses. In fact, they never brought the one they took of DD to the table. We didn't realize that until much later. We saw Ariel (DD's favorite), Alice, Mulan, Cinderella, and Belle. DD especially wanted to do this on our mother/daughter trip. BTW, she is 19 and was taller than most of the Princesses. We had a great time.
