Just returned from 7 days on the dining plan and the first thing to say is that it is a lot of food!
We chose to really use the dinners and booked into several restaurants we had never tried before.
Day 1 - Dinner at Flying Fish on Boardwalk - amazingly good food and huge portions. If you haven't tried this place before I really recommend it.
Day 2 - Dinner at Le Cellier - top quality food in a busy place that manages to maintain the quality. The steaks are done to perfection.
Day 3 - Dinner at Brown Derby - we paid for this meal ourselves and shared appetizers and an entree - which was a good value since the appetizers were entree size!
Day 4 - Dinner at Jiko - a stunning restaurant in AK resort that had some of the most adventurous flavors I can remember eating - all good. Again, the portions are large so it's worth sharing entrees here although we used 2 credits each to dine here.
Day 5 - Dinner at Wolfgang Puck Cafe - never disappointing here, the food is consistently good. After eating so many great dinners we were starting to wonder if we could even eat another dinner!
Day 6 - Chefs de France - we forged ahead with a great meal and perhaps the best steak I have ever eaten while seated at a window table and able to watch the fireworks. Note: we were initially briskly seated by the door which was blowing cold air. I asked if we could move and although the request was not happily recieved it was handled and we were very happy. In other words, it doesn't hurt to ask if you don't like your table.
Day 7 - Kimono's at the Swan Hotel - a perfect sushi dinner although not on the dining plan as we had used our credits by then. Highly recommend the quality of sushi and range of sake served here. A gem of a place.
All in all the dining plan offers great quality and flexiblity but probably too much food. But it was really fun to go all out!
