restaurant recommendations for allergies

My son was just recently diagnosed with an allergy to gluten and dairy. Are there restaurnts at WDW that accommadate these diet restrictions. Before we plan our trip I want to make sure this will not be too much of an issue. Has anyone else had to deal with these type of restrictions while on a Disney vacation? Any suggestions/comments/advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated.

Disney TS restaurants are fabulous at accomodating allergies. CS places are a bit trickier, because most things are pre-made, but they have binders with ingredients lists available at each ordering station. Contact www.specialdiets@disneyworld.com and let them know about your son's allergies. They'll email you a list of common snack and CS items with allergens. They'll also email you a form to fill out once you make your ADRs. The form asks for things like name, age, allergens, ADR dates and times. This info is forwarded to the chefs at the restaurants. You can also get phone numbers for the chefs to call in advance if you have specific questions or requests.
