Hello,

My friend and I have decided to visit the park in early June. Neither of our husbands wants to go :confused3 so we figured we would go without them :earsgirl: We are looking for recommendations for four nights. We would like to do Le Cellier as one of them. We are going to be using the Dining plan.

Thanks,
Missy

Where are you staying?? That may help us give you rest. recs. Some of the resorts have wonderful places to eat.

Personally I have really enjoyed the following restaurants:

Le Cellier
Marakkesh
Spoodles- breakfast
Teppanyaki
Les Chefs
Plaza Rest.- lunch
SAI

Places I didn't really enjoy or wouldn't go back:
Chef Mickey
Tony's
H&V

We really like The Flying Fish
The California Grill
Mama Melroses would be fun in MGM or the Brown Derby
Have a wonderfun time! :earsgirl:

MGM - Brown Derby is highly rated, but not for a 2 TS, not sure if that's the case or not - we liked doing H&V and getting the Fantasmic Dinner pkg
for the CS meal, it is Backlot express (but try and get there before Indiana Jones lets out!!)

Epcot - you have LeCellier!!

AK - CS meal Tusker House for air conditioning, indoor sit down, great salads, fish, or chicken!!

MK - Well, the Castle is all that!! And they have food too!!

Resorts - AKL Boma, Polynesian, Kona Kafe, Contemporary Calif Grille!!

and then you can look at the menus at www.allearsnet.com too!!

Epcot San Angel, and Teppinaki gets high marks too

Thanks for all the recommendations. We are staying at FOFQ so a SD is not really an option there.

You can take the monorail to Polynesian (or a boat!) from MK, and you can walk from the MK to Contemporary for the Concourse Steak - then walk back to get the bus back to POFQ...

From POFQ you can walk to POR and try Boatwrites, (wrong spelling!!) there is a pianoman that's quite good -again, check out allearsnet.com for menus!!

O'Hana is great. If I were going to be there with an adult friend and no kids, I'd probably choose to dine in Epcot's World Showcase every night. We really enjoy Germany's Biergarten. This time we are trying Rose and Crown and maybe a French one.

My friend and I went during free dining last year. NO MEN. It was great.
We actuallly got to shop. We ate at Ohana's Le Cellier, The California Grill
and we went to the Grand Floridian for Afternoon tea. The food was
really good at all these places. The tea was so relaxing. Also had
margueritas in Mexico and milkshakes at Sci-Fi. Hope you have a great
trip. Girls just want to have fun!

Yea, girls trip! My best friend and I were down there in June for a conference, it was VERY fun :teeth:

IMO, the food at Epcot is the best overall. Teppanyaki and Restaurant Marrakesh being favs.

Have FUN FUN FUN till your daddy takes the T-bird away!!!

Girlfriend trips are the best. We left our DH's at home and had FUN!!!

all of the above resturant choices are the best.

Artist Point has a wonderful atmosphere and delicious food.

The Grand Floridian Cafe is lovely very "Victorian", with excellent food and service. The chocolate fondue for 2 is delicious!!! So save room for dessert.

Walk to Boarwrights (less than 10min and a nice easy walk to POR) they were very friendly and good food. We had the shrimp, the fried cheese pieces, and both had great prime rib! Very enjoyable and I walked off the milky way cheese cake (or so I tell myself) on the way back.
