Continuing with our 'yea or nay' series of polls, we now shed the spotlight on Cat Cora's Kouzzina at the Boardwalk Resort. So, without further ado...

Current Topic: Kouzzina by Cat Cora
Please vote either 'yea' or 'nay' in the above poll, and, if you'd like, you can respond and leave your comments explaining your pick, though it's not required, of course.

Another yea for me. I loved dinner there, despite the restaurant's high noise level, which seems encouraged by the staff yelling "Opa!" at regular intervals. I still crave the pastitsio I had six months ago from time to time. Furthermore, I adore Kouzzina's breakfast and anxiously await our next visit there in just less than four months' time.

A solid "yea" for us! We went twice for dinner and once for breakfast during their soft opening last August. My only regret is that we didn't get back there for breakfast again. The only dish we didn't like was the burger with the harissa sauce that my DS (then 13) just couldn't handle. However, his entree was replaced quickly and without question. He has asked to go back there and I'm eager for a return visit as well.

I must vote Nay, for now, as we were unimpressed with our breakfast experience. Some day, we'll look to try again. DW took ill (not due to Kouzzina), and we had to cancel our dinner at Kouzzina. As I said, perhaps in the future, after we try some other new places and recent discoveries.

Went with low expectations after reading some negative reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised, we had very good service and very good food.
Desserts were excellent!

Thanks for the votes, all. Keep them coming!

It's a Nay for us. We went last month. Waited at least 30 minutes past our ADR time and the dinner, without desserts, still took an hour and 40 minutes once we were seated. It was a party of 4 adults. I am not a picky eater, I am a world traveler and am used to eating "interesting" foods but this was one of the worst meals I've ever had. I ordered the waiter's recommendation and could not eat it. The other 3 adults, all with different entrees, said that theirs were OK but all agreed this would not be a place high on our return list.

We have now eaten at all but 3 of WDW TS, and this one definitely ranks in the bottom 10.

It really is such a shame that Kouzzina is such a hit or miss. It has so much potential.

we have totally enjoyed kouzzina for dinner and found that the breakfast is just outstanding.:thumbsup2

try the sangria!!!! great.

yea!:worship:

I totally agree, we will never go back after the same type of terrible service and unappealing food just last week. I also am a non-picky eater and we were complete unimpressed.

Wow, this really is turning out to be surprisingly polarizing. I kind of expected these numbers to be more similar to Coral Reef, ending up with somewhere around a 75% approval rating.

We had the appetizers for two -- this was ok, even good. However our entree of pork was dry, and the greens very salty. I don't know if the greens are supposed to taste that way or not. I get the flavor contrast of the apples, pork, and greens, but it just didn't work for us in May, 2010. I was very disappointed, as I had high hopes for this meal. I'll give the restaurant a second chance.

A few nights later Citricos surpassed all our expectations. We will return there!

We went in January; out of five people, not one person liked their food. Nor did anyone like their dessert. I had such high expectations, that I dragged my family ther, despite the bad reviews I saw. I won't be returning. :guilty:

We ate breakfast there twice this past may, and have a dinner ADR for this december...
