Restaurant Marrakesh

I've always enjoyed the Roast Lamb Meshoui - slow cooked leg of lamb. The hot mint tea service to drink. I've heard complaints about the chicken kebabs being dry so I stick with the lamb meshoui. I've seen others around me enjoying the Sampler Platter and the Feast. However, I think there are kebabs (brochettes) on both.

This restaurant is a better value OOP at lunch rather dinner as so many of the entrees are the same but with higher dinner prices.

The theming/decor here is gorgeous and a real hidden gem. Don't forget to read the framed correspondence betw General Washington and the King of Morocco on the wall near the check-in counter. My one knock of the place is that it can be quite cool/cold. This is great when its hot and steamy outside. If a cooler day, consider bringing a sweater.

We ate there for the first time on our last trip. Been dining at Epcot for years, just never made it over there. My kids weren't too happy with their food, but they were just being picky (I insisted that they not order chicken nuggets from the kids menu!). I liked getting something different at Disney, and my appetizer and meal was very good. We had the goat cheese & crispy bread, then I ordered the chicken kabobs and got to finish my kids' lamb shank and lemon chicken. All were good, a nice medley of semolina pasta, couscous and mixed vegetables. They have a very nice selection of teas.

We all loved the atmosphere. It's like stepping into Casablanca. All of the tilework is from Morocco -- they really went all out and it's kind of a hidden gem since it's off the beaten path and the food is not what your typical dining family is looking for. I may be wrong, but I think it's the only dining place in the parks where there is live music?? We enjoyed that very much and the bellydancer managed to be a family-friendly exotic yet chaste.

I've eaten there twice and had a decent meal each time. It is definitely toned down when compared to more authentic Moroccan restaurants, which is a shame, but the food was good. As with almost every Disney restaurant there is the inflated cost but I would have no reservations about eating there again.

I got lamb both times but can't remember the exact plate.

It's OK. The food is under-seasoned. It could use a doubling the spices (not hot) to make it bit more authentic.

We go there just about every time we are at WDW, love it so we've had just about everything on the menu. Personally, i just get the appy platter for two as my meal and then the table gets the goat cheese appy to share.

DH and I ate here for the first time in March. Enjoyed it so much, we're eating there again w/ the kids next month :thumbsup2. Goat cheese & crispy bread appetizer was awesome; I enjoyed my chicken kabobs & DH his lamb. We weren't going to get dessert as nothing really stood out to us, but it was our anniversary and they brought us the baklava as a "happy anniversary" :) Ended up loving that, too!
