Heading to WDW in a few weeks with two friends, and each of us picked two TS restaurants. One of my friends picked Restaurant Marrakesh....we are going for lunch...what have you enjoyed there?

Pics would be awesome!

I always order the vegetable cous cous. It's very filling and very tasty. My son and husband have tried a few things and really enjoyed their meals. On our last Marrakesh trip my husband ordered the lemon chicken and said it was even better than the shish kebabs. My son ordered the shish kebabs the last time and finished all of it. He's thinking about trying the fish tangine next trip.

Here's a link to the menu..

We love there appetizers best- we like to order the appetizers for 2- it is a sampler of a few of them instead of an entree.

We ate lunch there last Saturday. I had the North Atlantic Salmon - Pan seared salmon with mushrooms, tomato concassee, garlic parsley oil and hummus $21.99. I enjoyed it, although the hummus that was served with it was fairly bland.

My daughter had the Berber Feast - jasmina salad, roast lamb meshoui, chicken kabob and seasonal fruit salad $27.95. She really enjoyed the lamb.

My DH had the Sultan Sampler - grilled brochette of either beef or chicken served with a Beef Brewat Roll and Chicken Bastilla served with vegetable couscous $21.99. The brewat roll and bastilla were no where near as good as we can get at our local Moroccan place, but they were passable.

Overall, we that the dishes were good, but not as good as we get locally. The seasonings seemed somewhat dumbed down, especially in the couscous.

DH and I have gone so many times, and made sure to visit with DD this past May. She's 4 and LOVED the belly dancer!

I always ask about any specials and they usually offer a lunch special - when we were there it was some great appetizer rolls, chicken over cous cous, and baklava. I've also loved the lamb there (so tender!) and DH loves the lunch sampler platter.

It's a great experience and the food is one of my faves!!! Have fun!

I like the rolled pastry filled with beef and sprinkled with cinnamon - I can't remember what they are called but they are delicious (my whole family likes them)

Oh they are an appetiser.

Those are Beef Berwat- we bought the recipe book so I could cook them at home and they come out very well.

I love, love, love Marrakesh! I love the beef kabobs and the beef brewat rolls. The haira soup is also good- not too crazy! We also enjoy the special coffee's as dessert! NUMMY!!! :lovestruc

My favorite things there are the beef brewat rolls and chicken bastilla. Sometimes there's a lunch special with one of them included. One time I got the appetizer sampler for my meal and was very happy with it. I also like the kebobs and the cous cous.
