Restaurant Marakesh

Hi all,
Is dinner at Restaurant Marrakech usually less than 2 hours? Have a 7 pm ADR and want to be done in time for Epcot forever fastpass?

@willis it can be, it's really up to you. Drinks, appetizers, main course and a desert for a larger group will take longer. Plus if the restraunt itself is busy that will add time. But I think you can get in and out in 2-hours. If you want, ask your server there maybe suggestions on items to avoid order that may take longer. We never had an issue though.

I think two hours is plenty of time. The longest it ever took us (my wife and I) was 1.5 hours and that was because we have apps and desserts.

You should be good.

We have dined there twice. A party of 2.
Drinks, appetizer, entree and dessert. Easily out before 2 hours.

Just FYI - having a 7PM ADR may not necessarily mean you will be seated exactly at 7PM. I have no idea how busy this restaurant can get but I remember times at other restaurants where we had to wait a while before being seated.

I think they are actually one of the less busy restaurants.

I agree with @DaisyDuck001 that this restaurant is one of the least busiest in Epcot. Most people don't even know it's there since it is located in the back of the pavilion with very little signage up front. We have been there during Food & Wine and still been able to get a table without reservations and only a 10 minute wait.

This place is one of my son's favorites! We've gone 3 or 4 times over the years, usually taking between 90-120 minutes. The 'Feast' which is many courses takes close to 2 hours. Seating usually takes 5-15 minutes.

For Epcot Forever, I'd show up 15 mins prior to ADR and then let my server know we'd like to finish by a certain time to find seating before the show. They'll be happy to work with you. We often request this now at WDW and servers seem to appreciate knowing what pace we prefer in advance.

There are things you can do to decrease (or move up) your time in any restaurant. Arrive early for your ADR (20-30 min). Peruse the menu before you arrive & place your entire order as soon as your server is ready. Request the bill when the first food item arrives.

However, be careful you don't get in & out so fast that you miss the entertainment at Marakesh.
