Hi, we love Disney, have been 8 times now. We've eaten on plan and off plan without sacrificing our favorite restaurants. Eating at great places is part of the vacation for our family.

We are going to pick up our son who will be completing his Disney College Program on August 2nd. We are spending the week at Disney before we bring him home. We will be on the Disney Dining Plan and staying at Yacht Club.

Allow me to share where we will be eating and let me know your thoughts. Thanks!!

Saturday - Cape May Buffet Dinner (New to us)
Sunday - Via Napoli (New to us)
Monday - Saana (new to us....Boma is #1 family favorite)
Tuesday - Sci Fi (it's a day for HS. Eating OOP this day because of tomorrow's dinner.)
Wednesday - Yachtsman (New to us)
Thursday - Ohana (We have enjoyed immensely in the past, but a little worried about current reviews)

So, several new experiences on our itinerary. Gone from the usual list is Chef Mickey's. 2 of 3 kids are fine with it. :-)

Not so sure about Via Napoli. Even thought maybe I should use that as my OOP day. Or choose something different in Epcot. We've eaten at Coral Reef, Le Cellier, Rose and Crown. Really wanting to make the most of the DP.

Thanks for input! 17 days!:cool1::cool1::cool1::cool1:

So...since child #3 was so disappointed about Chef Mickey's dinner cancellation, I decided to try Cape May Breakfast. It will be new to us as well.:cheer2:

VN is one of my favorite places in Epcot. The appetizers, pizzas and pastas, and desserts are all very good. My favorites are the calamari, arancini, prosciutto e melone pizza, and the Coppa Di Brutti Ma Buoni sundae.

Regarding 'Ohana, I was last there in March and it was very good. Some of the appetizers had changed a little since October, but I didn't mind the changes. The meats were the same and very yummy. I would not hesitate to go back to 'Ohana on my next trip.

For the rest of your choices, they look pretty good. The only one that I (personally) wouldn't go to is Yachtsman. The food and service were good, but it didn't impress me all that much. For me, if I'm going to spend the kind of money that Signatures charge, I would go to Narcoossee's (my favorite) or California Grill or Jiko or Artist Point. All of those were very good and I liked the food, service, decor, and atmosphere better.
