We are going to the 6:00 pm show at the Cirque, we have reservation at Wolf Gang Puck for 4:00 pm but I am not sure if this is the right place to go. This is my parent's 50th anniversary and we are taking them to the CDS and we would need to be done dinner in time to get to the show by 6:00. Does anyone have any suggestions of another restaurant and how far is from CDS.
Thanks

The only table service restaurant at Downtown Disney my family and I have been to is the Rainforest Cafe, which is located in the Marketplace section. We happen to think it's a great location and if you go before 4:00 PM chances are you won't have a wait and will be seated right away. Of course the only thing is from there it's about a 10 minute or more walk to West Side so you can arrive at the Cirque du Soleil location.

I'd stick with WGP. We really like the food and it's very close to CDS. You'll find people that like WGP and some that don't but we've eaten there several times and the food is always delicious and fresh. :goodvibes

I would not bother with the Rainforest Cafe. This is a non Disney chain restaurant, and not a very good one at that. WGP gets good reviews.
We ate at Raglan Road last year and we liked it very much. However, it is at the entrance to PI and would be a fairly long walk to CDS, so I don't know if it will work for you. Also I do not know how early they start to serve dinner. Woflgang's is probably the best choice.

Another vote for Wolfgang's. It's not terribly far from CDS(closer than Rain Forest) and the food is very good. You can be seated upstairs for a more upscale dining experince, or downstairs for something more casual, but still very good.:earsboy:

WGP is probably a great choice before Cirque. House of Blues is closer but there can be a bit of a wait there sometimes. We love Raglan Road but it would be a longer walk.

WPC, House of Blues, and Bongos are all very close to the Cirque show. We ate at WPC after our Cirque show last trip and it was excellent!

Captain Jacks is really good if you like seafood, and sitting on the water is nice as well....
