the first time we went to WDW was in 1998.please can anyone tell me was their a restaurant in the castle at MK back then idont remenber it i am sure it was just a gift shop.please can anyone tell me?

The restaurant in Cinderella Castle was originally know as King Stefan's Banquet Hall, and was renamed Cinderella's Royal Table on April 28, 1997.

Fun fact: King Stefan was actually Sleeping Beauty's father, and not Cinderella's.

Myst :flower:

The restaurant is on an upper level of the castle. If you pass thru the castle look to the right as you exit the passage and you will see the check in podium for the restaurant.

LOL Extraredstuff I see you have a link to the disney trivia page too! :teeth:

LOL... I was thinking the same thing when I saw your answer, Myst....

You must also know that Cinderella's last name was Tremaine princess:

Myst & Extra
I'm sure you know that her first name is actually Ella. Her mean stepsisters started calling her Cinder Ella because she was always covered wuth cinders and soot from cleaning the kitchen fireplace.

Hey Myst & Extra I just noticed that we have the northeast pretty much covered from the shore of Connecticut up to Ontario.

Is that true? I know her stepmother is Lady Tremaine, but I don't recall there ever being made a mention where Lady Tremaine took on her late husband's last name. As far as I always have known, Cinderella was "last nameless." I could be wrong though.

HI phil....

I'm sure I didn't know that, that Dis trivia page didn't have much on characters, so thanks for the added info.....

there seem to be a lot of east coast folks up on these boards, guess some of us need a place to dream of during our nasty winters. My trip next week was planned the night we got 3-ft of snow :flower:

I wonder how accurate that is since I don't really remember it being made known in the original story...but it's been quite some time since I've read it.
