Restaurant hours, CG in particular

Hello DISers!!
I am so excited about my upcoming trip on 12/1/09 I have my days and restaurants planned, but am wondering what are the restaurant hours for which meals?? Especially, on 12/3 we want CG before our MVMCP and want to eat an early dinner (430 or 5pm to start eating), what time do they start serving dinner?? Anyone know where I can find meal times? I checked on here, WDW web, and on allears, but can only links to menus. Or do the restaurants just stay open from lunch until they close? Most of our ADR's will be lunches, but some of those will be late lunches so I want to know if the restaurants generally close for a few hours mid day to clean and change menus, and stuff? Thanks for any advice

In general the earliest seatings at the signature restaurants, including California Grill, are at 5:30. Since dinner usually takes 1.5-2hrs, it probably isn't a good choice for a party night.

I'm not sure exactly when other restaurants begin serving dinner. I know I've seen 4-4:30 times available at Kona and Ohana, so I assume they start the dinner period earlier than the signature restaurants do.

Thanks!! Boy am i glad that I asked! I guess I never thought it would take 2 hours to eat a meal!! Is that pretty standard for CG? And I guess they don't have lunch since I can't find a lunch menu! I will have to look at our plan and rearrange. We will probably try to do a late lunch lunch or early dinner at our resort, AKL, insead and save the CG for another day! California Grill definitely starts serving at 5:30. No, they don't serve lunch. Try the Wave if you are looking for lunch.

If you're looking at Jiko at AKL, they don't start serving until 5:30 either. Boma starts earlier, but neither restaurant serves lunch. Sanaa at AKV does serve lunch and dinner.
