Restaurant help!!!

we are heading down to disney on august 25 and our free dinning starts august 26-september 1. we started calling for reservations but most places our booked we tried the common: le cellire, chef mickey, whispering cannon, tepanyaki. any ideas?? we need help!

Did you try for off times? Maybe you will have to eat dinner earlier (4PM) or later (after 8PM). Or try for a table service lunch and eat counter service for some dinners.

What you tried was popular. I would print off the list of restaurants in the dining plan, put them in preference order for the location you will be at on each day and just go down the list. You may have to eat at off times. I hope it works out for you.

One thing you might try is a signature restaurant. These don't seem to book as fast because they are 2 TS credits.

You could eat counter service one night and do a 2 TS credit meal the next. Look at places like Citricos, Artist Point, Jiko, California Grill, even the Hoop Dee Doo. With the exception of the Hoop Dee Doo, you will get an EXCEPTIONAL meal at any one of these places and having a counter service meal occasionally is not a bad thing.

As for breakfast, you might try the Cape May Cafe for their character breakfast.

Make sure you ask them to tell you what the avaliable times are for the night that you are asking about. If you just ask for 6:30, then they are just going to look at 6:30.

I would go to allearsnet.com and look at the menus and pick different places.

Maybe try the resort restaurants? Or DTD? We love Kona, Cape May (breakfast and dinner), Yachtsman, House of Blues to name a few.
