Hi everyone...:goodvibes
I just planned a trip for myself and my son to WDW for 8 days...:woohoo: We will be staying at POP at the end of June/beginning of July. We will be there for my son's 10th birthday. Can anyone advise me which resturant would be good for his birthday dinner? I would like to make this day as special as possible for him? Any advice?
Thanks :goodvibes

As a mother of 2 DSs, 11 & 8, I would recommend ESPN Club on the BW. They are in heaven there. Of course, a trip to the gift shop next door after the meal is always in order. :thumbsup2

Hey Erin, Since he is turning 10, I would say not the Crystal Palace..my kids are 9, 7 and 6 and they all didn't want to see The Pooh characters..to young for them this past November. Liberty Town Tavern has a great atmosphere and does a great job for birthdays. They have characters like Goofy, Minnie and Chip and Dale...we liked the place but the food was not good. (some people really like it..our food was dry and overcooked..maybe it was a bad night). The other option for a sit down dinner in the MK would be CRT, but he may not like that either considering his age...I would say hop on the monorail and take him to Chef Mickey's at The CR or O'Hana's at The Poly. Both are buffet style with characters...food is good..and easy to get to from the MK. ;)

Thank you all for your responses :goodvibes
I was actually thinking about the Whispering Canyon for his birthday, but he wasn't too sure.
Thanks again
Erin

Don't forget Whispering Canyon at the WL.

Thant's funny that you mention that! I am traveling in August over my son's 8th birthday and we are doing the Whispering Canyon for his birthday breakfast..great choice! I forgot to mention it! :thumbsup2

Please consider 1900 Park Fair at the GF. Mention his birthday on the ADR. For breakfast or dinner they will give him a crown to keep and wear, a birthday cupcake, and a plastic placemat with the character signatures.
The chacratres will also sign to him. Very cute.

Girls get the same treatment - but instead of a crown, girls geta tiara
