Friends and I will be running the princess half marathon in February. We're staying on property w/o a car.
We love spicy food and are adventurous eaters. However, we want something simple and bland for an early dinner the night before the race. At home, I would have a grilled chicken breast, steamed vegetables and brown rice the night before a race - no sauce & no spices.
I know we could might find those things at a buffet, but given the fact that we'll be eating a small meal, drinking only water and having no desserts/etc, we'd rather not walk down a buffet full of food we can't enjoy.
We will be in WDW after the race to enjoy good meals, margaritas and cupcakes.
I did check restaurant availability and there are still a large number of places with early Saturday dinner openings. I also looked at menus, but nothing perfect jumped out at me. We're staying at POFQ and have hoppers. We plan to be in MK and/or Epcot the day before the race. We can also easily get to DTD from our resort. Thinking Sunshine Seasons at might be our best bet, but we were hoping for a relatively calm TS restaurant rather than a food court.
Thanks for any advice!!
