If you're still looking for restaurant recommendations in Toronto, we went to the Sultan's Tent Sunday. The food is very good (Morrocan), the place well themed and there's even a belly dancer. It's at 49 Front Street, if you want to check it out.

Kungaloosh!

WOW, mentioned on my own thread! What an honor!

I appreciate the recommendation! Moroccan food certainly sounds exotic!

A little update for you....was in Toronto very recently (mid July) hosting a mini US invasion (10 New Yorkers)...had a great time staying at what I feel is Toronto's best hotel - the Park Hyatt in Yorkville and for our one "fine dining" experience out, we went to 360 up the CN Tower (needed to work the touristy stuff in at the same time and what better way than going up the tower)...

360 exceeded all expectations...Wine Spectator-blessed wine "cellar", a very interesting bourbon marinaded Ontario Pork dinner and probably the best Caesar I've ever eaten.

Though I'm still very cautious when it comes to steaks in Canada (only trusting Morton's or Ruth's Chris), this was a great "food" trip...also ate at Sassafrass and Morton's in Yorkville.

After stopping for a drink at the Four Seasons Hotel though, virtually everyone mentioned how shabby the Toronto Four Seasons is (ironic since I know the firm is based in Toronto)...the NYC and Philly (and virtually all US properties in this chain) are drop-dead gorgeous ...anyone know why....this is a real mystery!

Probably too many celeb's hanging around during the film festival!;)

One of my favorite hotels is the Four Season's Vancouver! Stayed there many times and I loved it!!

I'm surprised to hear of the 4S's in Toronto.....maybe they are due for a reno?

:)
