Anyone been recently to restaurant des stars? It's in my list, but I wonder if it's worth doing?

food varies from very nice indeed, to okay tex mex bbq. I like it because the dessert selection is very good indeed, which pleases my DD, and you get unlimited hot drinks included in the adult buffet price :thumbsup2.

we were there in june, i cant remember much main course as it was just before my opp and i wasnt allowed certain foods. but we were impressed. we are deff going back tbis year again. im sure there were meat dishes, fish, pizza, pasta, salad, soup?? and the dessert bit was fab, sweets for the kiddos cakes, jellies, ice cream. i think we were roughly 22 euro (adult) it filled us up at lunch time, till we had a snack of a happy meal at about 10pm in the village haha

also we prefered this buffet over the inventions one that was double the price.

oh im sure there was a calvery type meats there too.

really? I planned Inventions for character dinner :rolleyes1

The price for Invention is more important but the buffet is the better of DLP and WDW, i like it :)

Love the restaurant, always plenty of choice & their beef bourgion is delicious the meat just melts in your mouth.

in my eyes, inventions is posh, you basicly pay for where it is and the characters. dont get me wrong the characters were fab, but i prefered resturant des stars better, more inviting. i was scared lo would make a mess in inventions, but felt more relaxed in the other. similer food i found too.

its up to you where to go. but if your taking both boys, go where you will feel more relaxed and able to get your moneys worth with the food. i also found my wee boy hardly ate anything in inventions because of the chacters comming round etc. think maybe a bread roll and a bit of fruit. im glad he was under 2 at the time, so i didnt have to pay for him :worship:

Depending on what time the park closes in March Restauarnt des Stars won't be an option for dinner anyway as it will not be open.

Check when you get there , unless you want to phone, what your possibilites are :)

We're going in March, so probably will do restaurants des stars for lunch or very early dinner :rotfl:

we're doing Inventions because of the characters. The food was so bad in Mickey's cafe, I don't want to go one more time. But the price does give me doubts :rolleyes1:confused:

have you considered Cowboy Cookout for your character meal Isila? It would be lunchtime too, not evening, but it might suit better?

I was thinking about it, but not many seem have done it, so not so much reviews.

I should open another thread :D
