Restaurant Confirmation Numbers?

I had a question about restaurants and dining reservations, if anyone could be so kind. We're leaving in 10 days for our Paris trip!!! and I booked two fancier meals, one at Walts, and one at Blue Lagoon. I was just curious if you normally get a confirmation number with your reservations, since this is our first trip. I know we always did for WDW and while I've never had to actually use one, it always made me feel a lot safer. The guy I had on the phone was not the friendliest, and I think he was getting frustrated with me not understanding his accent very well. To be fair, I pressed the button for English, and he picked up the phone saying "Bonsoir," lol. I'm just wondering if I should call back, or if there's a domestic line I can call in the US, to confirm our dates and times.

No, you don't usually get confirmation numbers for dining reservations at DLP. They use your family name (surname) and look under that when you arrive at the restaurant.

However, if you want to, you can go into City Hall when you arrive at DLP, and ask them to print off your dining reservations. You get a little slip/receipt for each reservation you have made, and you can take this to the restaurant.

When I made all of my reservations, I was a bit worried that they would get lost in the abyss as they couldn't understand me very well. Unfortunately, they don't give you a reference number and they can't email you a confirmation.

I ended up ringing back nearer the time and gave them my surname to make sure they could see all of the reservations. As long as the surname is correct, you should be able to print off a list of your reservations once you arrive at the Conceriage desk.

This is what we did and it was nice to have the physical reservations to present at the restaurants, rather than worrying about whether our name was down or not!
