Restaurant.com's Theidealmeal.com?

Has anyone ever used them? Restaurant.com has a special now for 5 $25 gift cards for $13.99 (about 88% off) that can be used at theidealmeal.com. The restaurant list at theidealmeal.com looks slightly different than that of the regular restaurant.com list. Is it the same? Are there the same kind of restrictions on using the cards as there are with the restaurant.com certs? Are things sold out? I want to purchase a $25 Giordano's cert and every time I look it's sold out. I wouldn't mind buying a bunch of theidealmeal.com cards now if I could use it on a $25 Giordano's cert.

Also, what do you guys think about these cards as teacher/coach gifts? Do you think they are too hard to use? I would probably give a $25 or $50 one per person.

One more thing ... they have 5 $50 gift cards of $23.99. Can I split a $50 card into 2 $25 certs?

I was given one of the cards last year for Christmas, and just redeemed it a few days ago. I entered my code and it gave me the restaurants to choose from. I couldn't use any discount, so with my $75 card, I was able to get 3 $25 certificates. I certificates look like regular restaurant.com certificates. I have used 2 of them already with no problem!

They gave it to me in addition to something else. She didn't feel it was right to only give me that since I would have to spend money to use it. They are close family friends, so I didn't think anything of it.
