restaurant.com on ebay

Hello all! Just FYI - restaurant.com is auctioning certificates on ebay for really cheap! I just bid on one for Nagoya Sushi $25 gift certificate in Orlando for $1.00 and he has a LOT of them up for $1.00 and the bids are ending at less than $5 in most cases. From restaurant.com already I have $75 worth of gift certificates I paid under $20 for. Waddabargain!

I LOVE restaurant.com! I won bunches of these for last minute Christmas gifts!

Don't forget the Lake Buena Vista Club Car. It's the restaurant in the Holiday Inn Family Suites. They have a great buffet and kids eat free. We used it in January, great deal!

Just a caution, they only allow one certificate per restaurant per month. It's real tempting to use many of these!

Is this the certificate that requires at least 4 people (correct me if I am wrong) to accompany you? I think I've seen these GC before on Ebay and remember seeing that. Just curious.

There's different restrictions for every restaurant (like "dinner only") the ones I have so far only require a party of 2. They have all restrictions listed so no surprises

For those of you new to Restaurant.com on ebay- sometimes I have a hard time locating it that way- I find it easier to go to Restaurant.com and then hitting the ebay link. Then you pick your state to get to the restaurant lists. I won a 50% off at Baskervilles in the Grosvenor and $25 off at the Club Car at the Holiday Inn. I also won a few for here in Arizona. One restaurant is 1 mile from my house. No questions asked- they just take it and give you $25 off of food. Love it!

I'm having trouble finding e-bay through restaurants.com and/or restaurants.com thru e-bay. Can anyone make suggestions? Where do you start? I've searched on the main restuarants.com website and cannot find a link to e-bay. Thanks!

I won a $25 gc for $2.25 for a restaurant in Williamsburg where we are going for Easter. I like that I paid and then could print the gc directly rather than waiting for it to arrive by mail. I am hoping there is no problem using it but I will report any problems when we return.

Soupermom, you probably went to restaurants.com rather than restaurant.com - I did that a few times as well. On restaurant.com the link to ebay is at the very bottom.

I have also won two certificates for our trip in May - Baskervilles in the Grosvenor and The Club Car at HIFS. Both are new to us and we're looking forward to trying two new restaurants at bargain prices!

I made the mistake of ordering one that required that once so I make sure I read all the requirements BEFORE bidding. Usually it's just me and my son so the 4 person requirement is very limiting PLUS it makes the certificate not as much of a deal!

ncbyrne, you will love the Club Car! We went on a Thursday when they were serving seafood and it was delicious.

Has the Club Car gotten any better, when we were there in January '04 the food at the dinner buffet was so bad, we ordered off the menu and that was not much better.
