If anyone is interested in eating at the House of Blues in downtown disney I just got an awesome coupon from restaurant.com. You will have to sign up first. They sent me a promo code for an additional 80% off! They were selling $25 giftcards for $10. Well...with the 80% off promo code that brought my total to $2 for my $25 dollar card. You have to spend $35 to get to use it, but that will be easy for us. After you check out you print it out and take it to the restaurant with you.

I did the same thing at the House of Blues in downtown disney in orlando. Had no issues at all.

I really don't know all that much. Maybe someone else can add more. I have only used it 2 times. I found it last year somewhere in the Walt Disney World thread. You can search around in the website for more info. I just click on resturant certificates. It lets you choose where you would like to find eating coupons to. They normally offer $25 coupons for $10 and so on. But when I entered my info in on thier website they sent me a promo code in my email inbox for an additional 80% off.

After you check out you put all your credit card info in. Your coupon will show up and you just print it right off. You need to read the fine print first. Some you have to spend so much before you can use your coupon. There is a phone number that your waiter/waitress will call to activate your coupon. It specifically says not to do it yourself or you will unactivate your coupon. They are also pretty strict on how many. It looks like you can only have one per group even if you get more than 1 check. And you can only use one per month at the same place.?.?

Hope this helps...hopefully someone else can add/correct me if i'm wrong about something. Like I said this is only the second time I have used it, but I am looking into more places too!

Abby explained it pretty well, you pay for coupons.

The thing to consider is if you can use the coupons. Some people love it because participating restaurants are near their home. In my case, probably like yours, I have to be traveling to use them. So if you don't mind locking in where you have your meals, it works fairly well.

Once you have an acct with rest.com they will send you emails with new promo codes. I use these all the time, never had any problems at all. Just make sure you read the fine print and follow the cert. instructions. I never pay more then a couple bucks per cert. as I always use an 80% off code.

Search your location on the rest.com website, just enter your zip code. It will show you all restaurants you can dine at with a cert. from them. If you order a cert. for the Anaheim HoB as far as I know it has to be used at the Anaheim location.

Just a FYI...many restaurants restrict how often you can use these coupons. I think one a month, so you would not be able to use more than one per trip. (unless you were staying more than a month, of course, lol)

But couldn't someone else in the party use it? I have gotten them before for a couple places where I live and they have never asked to see anything other then the coupon..???

I suggest signing up with them, they will email you the new codes as they are ready. As a pp said the code is now Enjoy and it's good for 70% off.

I have used one for HOB at DL. The food was fine but expensive, so the (80% off deal) $2 for te $25 off cert. was still a good deal
I bet there will be 80% off by next week. But you do take the chance that House of Blues will be sold out.
The same restaurants are not always available.
I think I will get one for our trip next month.
