I went to the web site and a message came up that the security certificate has been revolved and it is no longer secure. Before I place my order, should I be concerned about this?

Should not be a problem. Some PC's are overly sensitive.

Dumb question. If it says $50 min purchase, and I have a $50 coupon, does that mean it's free (not counting tax and tip?)

If you are looking online, and it started with a $25 certificate, minimum was probably $50. If you select $50 certificate, it probably changed to something more, like $100. Take a look again.

I've used them since they started out on ebay many many many moons ago... i dont remember getting spammed with emails from them. Someone on facebook says the promo is still working tonight. Most of the time at the end of the month they have an 80percent off sale to clear out the remaining GC to make room for the new months.

You could have just purchased generic certificates. They were .50 more than the certificate for a specific restaurant, but that is all I buy now. I have 10 $25 generic gift certificates I purchased at the 90% off - worked out to $1.50 each. When we are thinking of going out, I check restaurant.com to see if our favorite restaurant is available and just convert the generic one into one for that specific restaurant.
