I just got an email that the code is WOW for today only, 90% off certificates if anyone is interested.

Yikes! I was able to get on and get some local coupons. It was extremely slow. I went back to look for Fla. coupons and the server "isn't available".

It is VERY slow but I have bought the 3 certificates that I wanted, I have managed to print one of them, I will try later to print the other ones.

For what its worth - I am a skeptical person at times, couldn't believe that the certificates would really work..........I believe, I believe :worship:
now. I used 2 in San Antonio last week without a seconds problem! I can't wait to keep buying and using more, in fact I wish I had time on my upcoming Disney trip to go to some of the places that accept them in that area but I already have enough ADR's and no more time free to eat at any of them, I guess I will have to just plan another trip:banana:

One of my favorite restaurants doesn't participate anymore. We went last night on one of my last ones. Pazzo's near the Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Ma. They definitely work and I have more than gotten my money's worth. We seem to have a good selection in Ct. In Eastern Ma. not so much.

I have only used one of these once and it was a gift.

Quick question for those of you who use this often....
If the "criteria" states that you must have a minimum purchase of $50, can I use 5 $10 restauraunt.com certificates to pay for my $55 bill? Or is it 1 $10 certificate per $50 of bill?

Thanks!

You can only use one coupon per visit.

Technically you can only use one coupon for a 30 day period at that particular restaurant.

That is correct, but we have used them more frequently. To clarify, one coupon per restaurant every 30 days, but it hasn't been an issue when we have. I am a little frustrated right now. We are going to Southwest Fla. in November. I have Shula's and Olios in Naple, in my cart right now but the screen keeps freezing.

Sooooo glad I was up bright and early this morning and saw the restaurant.com email! Snatched up 10 $25 generic gift certificates for $15!!

At least 3 of these will be used at House of Blues in DTD on our upcoming trips. Others - who knows? That's what great about the generic certificates - don't need to pick a restaurant until it's time to go eat!

I have never bought generic certificates. I better go back and look. What are the details?

I didn't know they had generic ones. If I can ever get back on, I'll look for those. It seems like everything near me has a $50 Minimum, but only have the $10 certificates. If I can use a $25 generic certificate, that would make more sense.

Thanks!

Can the generic ones be used if the restaurants you want have no more regular ones availble? I just bought three regular ones for Naples. They are not showing up in my account.

I have used Restaurant.com many times especially during the 80% off. They are great no problem redeeming and the $25 is taken off the check. It is a good deal and a great way to eat out. Thanks for today's code for the 90% off I will have to get some certificates later.

The website is flooded. I just got a message saying that because of the volume, certificates may not be available for 24 hours.

I have been using restaurant.com for ages. I didn't know about the generic ones. Since it is raining I hung on the phone and got to ask.
This is what I found out.
The generic ones, while they may participate in the same restaurants work from a different set of inventory and can sell out for the particular restaurant sooner.
Any purchase today may not show up until tomorrow because they are incredibly busy and there may be a log jam in the system.
If it doesn't show up by tomorrow, I can email her.
Lastly, and I love this one. The certificates no longer expire. Since they restructured the system so you don't have to keep track of the certificates you have used yourself, All of the certificates in your cue are valid, even if it lists your date of purchase in that menu. When you print them out, they will print out with no expiration date.

I went to the web site and a message came up that the security certificate has been revolved and it is no longer secure. Before I place my order, should I be concerned about this?

Dumb question. If it says $50 min purchase, and I have a $50 coupon, does that mean it's free (not counting tax and tip?)

Great! There is a very upscale mall near where I work and my boss will take us out to lunch sometimes. I bought certificates to these restaurants that are usually $17.50 for a $25 certificate.
Consuelo Mexican Bistro
Roux Louisiana Kitchen
Thea Mediterranean Cuisine

I also bought one for Happi House Teriyaki.

Happy day for me! I spent less than $6!!
