Hey everyone. So my son and I are headed to Disney World in June and have to make dining reservations next week. For this trip we will not be going to any parks, so all of our dining spots will need to be at resorts or in Disney Springs. We will have the deluxe dining plan and prefer to mostly eat only twice a day (one at a signature restaurant). We will be staying at Wilderness Lodge, but without having any park days we are fine traveling to different resorts. It is just myself and DS (14) and we love trying different types of foods. Below is our must do restaurants but i would love to hear your suggestions. Thank you!

California Grill Brunch
Ohanas for dinner
Sanaa for lunch
Artist Point for dinner
Boma for breakfast
Jiko for dinner

I hear Kona (at Poly) has a great breakfast. We’re going to try it when we go in April 2018.

OP, your choices are great. I would add 1900 Park Fare breakfast and The Wave dinner.

Best breakfast values . . .
. . . Trails End (Fort Wilderness)
. . . The Wave (Contemporary Resort)

Since you are staying at Wilderness Lodge I would give Whispering Canyon a try, it's a good bit of fun.

sounds like a good mixed list

so many nice places at the resorts...if you're doing signature, you could do a dinner show, right? The Wave is great for brunch, some of the character meals? Boardwalk area restaurants, like the good steakhouse over there-blanking on the name tho- I prefer eating outside the parks anyway- Kona is good

Thank you everyone for all the responses. We thought about both 1900 Park Fare for breakfast and we do enjoy Wave. Plus, I think we will add Whispering Canyon for breakfast. We have not done Hoop-Dee- Doo Review yet since we aren't fans of the menu, but if you thought the show alone would be worth it I may give it a try.

We're huge fans of the Hoop-dee-doo, but we enjoy the show as well as the food. We live in the south and my husband swears that is the best Fried Chicken anywhere! (That may also have to do with the unlimited beer and wine that comes with the meal :rotfl2:)

How about Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk? The food is great & after dinner you can hang out on the b'walk & check out the entertainment-the buskers are a riot! There are also 5 resorts in walking distance to check out as well.

You've got some great choices already. Especially Sanaa, Jiko, and the amazing California Grill brunch! If you are a seafood fan I'd also consider Flying Fish or Narcoossee's both are great and Narcossee's offers excellent fireworks viewing if that interests you In Disney Springs, Homecoming has become a new favorite. And I'd echo The Wave as a great breakfast option.

Olivia's at Old Key West is a hidden gem. Not usually crowded and not difficult to get an ADR.

Sounds a lot like what my family does! Here are some others we’ve loved...Yachtsman (amazing steaks with prices that make it worth it with the deluxe dining plan), Flying Fish, and Narcoosee’s (if you like lobster and have the deluxe plan there is a crazy great butter poached lobster that we never miss here)
