I am planning a Grand Gathering for 21 people. Are there any restaurants that can accomodate that large a group?

Should I book for everyone and just request that they split us among seperate tables at sit down meals? or Should each family book their own and just try for similar times? We won't want all meals together, of course, but would like to try a few.

TIA

I think it would be best to try and book together otherwise you would all end up all over the place and wont be sat at the same time. You wont all be on the same table anyway as nowhere has large enough tables but they will put you in an area together. Biergarten does fairly large tables which I think may hold 12 so would be a good option.

I did a trip with a group of 22, definately book together. You'll have to call Group Dining since you are a group of more than 10, their number is 407-939-7707, or you can book as a Grand Gathering at 407-WDW-PLAN.
Here are some places we ate: (some of them we were seated at seperate tables but next to each other)

Liberty Tree Tavern
LeCellier
'Ohana
Hollywood & Vine
Mama Melrose's
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Tepan Edo
50's Prime Time Cafe
HDDR

Have fun planning!

I have done 2 grand gatherings and will be going for a 3rd in 10 days or so. What I did is came up with my core group (very similar tastes) and we figured out where we wanted to eat-each person picking a restaurant-then sent an email with our choices out and each person could decide if they wanted to eat there too, or make their own arrangements-then I scheduled for our group. I have had no problems for large group at Le Cellier,Coral Reef,50"s PT,Hollywood and Vine,Sci Fi, CRT,Chef Mickeys,Boma,Spoodles,Whispering Canyon,Crystal Palace-you should have no problems anywhere-they always told me every reservation that they could not guarantee we would be together but we always were. Happy planning!!
