Restaurant cancellation policies

I understand the restaurants where you leave a credit card guarantee, you will be charged $10/pp for a no-show without 24-48 hours advance notice. What about the restaurants without a credit card left? I booked a dinner at T-Rex for the evening we arrive and I'm just wondering in case flight is delayed, transportation issues occur etc.. If something like that happens, can I call that same day to cancel without penalty? Thanks.
 
They can't charge you a penalty of you don't leave a credit card guarantee. That restaurant doesn't require one. And T Rex is not owned and operated by Disney, FYI. You'll be ok if you have problems with arrival times.
 
And just a heads-up, the deadline for most of the credit-card guarantee locations is close-of-business the day before the reservation - so in most cases, less than 24 hours.

Those places that are actually pre-paid are different - I think in those cases, it *is* 48 hours. But there are only a handful of those.

And Fantasmic packages also seem to be different. From what I can tell, those are close-of-business the day before the day before. (Yes, I wrote that twice on purpose.)
