We travel tomorrow for our 5 night stay. We have not booked any reservations for dinner. We were just going to turn up at the restaurants and ask for a table. Is it advisable to book, can you see it being that busy, that we couldn't get a table????
It depends what time of the day you want to eat - if its after park close (busiest time for restaurants), or on a Saturday, I'd advise booking, it saves you having to wait for a table (I have been at Cafe Mickey at 7.30 for example and have heard the CM tell those without reservations that there are no tables until 10pm).
Is that in October though?? I can understand in the summer but now??
It is advisable that you book, but remember you don't need to do this over the phone, you can do it at City Hall or at your hotel concierge once you get there! This might suit you better as it would give you a chance to look at all the different menus etc, then you could book for the rest of your stay.
That sounds like agood idea
This is what we did last year - we booked the restaurant for the first night before we left, although unless you really want Cafe Mickey you probably won't need to do this. Then after a wee look at all the restaurants, we booked restaurants for the rest of the stay at the concierge in HNY on our second day. This was really easy, the man at concierge was very helpful and wrote down all our booking times so we wouldn't forget.
This year I've been a bit more obsessive with my planning and have booked everything in advance - not so much out of worry that we wouldn't get in as from a love of organising![]()
That's good we plan on eating at anettes on the first night is cafe mickey a good restaurant then???
cafe mickey is great for atmosphere, great for character interaction and the food is ok. its not the best you will get in the resort but its nice maybe a bit expensive for what it is but you are paying for the characters
That's good the kids will like it. Well we all packed now roll on 6:30am and were off to the train station.
