Restaurant Akershus food & Princesses?

Please tell me which princesses were there for breakfast, lunch or dinner. How was the food for dinner. We have ADR for dinner to see aerial in gown but we don't eat anything on the menu. Thinking of switching to breakfast but want to know what characters are there usually. Mulan, Jasmine & Aerail are DD's favorite! Thanks

Jasmine and Ariel were def. there for dinner - I am pretty sure there were other princesses too.

We really liked it - I think the buffet menu is on allears.net. My kids are 10 & 7 and very picky - I am pretty sure they stuck to the kids meals...

But it was cold cuts - cold herring - fish - meats - we thought it was yummyand different!

Specific characters are never guaranteed at a character meal. The good news is that you can see all those characters at other places. Ariel in her grotto at MK, Mulan in China, and Jasmine in Morocco at EPCOT. I've never been there, so I can't comment about the food.

The Family style breakfast is a skillet with sausage, bacon, potatoes, scambled eggs. Rolls are on the table. Refills are available. The Princesses we've seen at breakfast were Jasmine, Snow White, Mulan, Mary Poppins, Aurora, Alice. Not all of them were there everytime.

my D is a HUGE Aurora fan and we have a breakfast booked.. does anyone know if this Princess is usually in attendance? and I also heard the breakfast buffet was quite delicious...true? as for getting into the park - what do you do? is there a special entrance? our ADR is for right before 9am so Epcot itself isn't even open ( I think)...

We had dinner.

Princesses: Aurora, Ariel, Cinderella, Belle, Jasmine

There are many "normal" items on the cold buffet, such as deli style meats & cheese, rolls, potato salad, etc.

The entrees include items such as chicken & pasta. DD's kids meal was a chicken breast, boiled potatoes, and corn. I may be wrong, but I would think that they would be willing to serve an adult sized portion.

Dessert was really good.

I was more "adventurous" here than usual, but I'm confident that I would have found enough food on the cold buffet to fill me up if I hadn't liked the entrees we ordered.

Overall, I'm glad we tried it. Won't be going back - but that's because we liked other places more, not because it was a bad meal.

Aurora is usually there, but never guaranteed. My DD is also a HUGE Aurora fan.

We enjoyed breakfast there on our first trip.

Epcot won't be open that early unless it is AM EMH day. 12/2004 the first line on the right was where they were letting guests through to go tp PSB, but theat may have changed. If it isn't clear where you should go, just ask a CM.

Our last two breakfasts 11/05, 02/06 Aurora was not there! We did find her in Epcot just outside France. We have never seen Cinderella there.

Probably too late for this, but just wanted to say that we had breakfast there also and Ariel was not there. We saw Mulan, Jasmine, Snow White, Belle and Aurora.

We had a late breakfast on 4/5. Belle was the greeter and there were also Mulan, Jasmine, Mary Poppins and Snow White. When we left, they were starting to let the lunch crowd in and Ariel was the greeter then. We were there a week and didn't see Aurora anywhere! She's usually somewhere else in World Showcase, but someone said she was sleeping.

Did you get to see Aerial on the way out? The CM I spoke to scheduled us a late breakfast too around 10:30 so we might get to see Aerail. Just wondered if you still get to get a picture with her. Thanks

No, unfortunately not. We had stopped by the entrance for a bathroom break on the way out and we had two 4 year old girls who were very excited to see Ariel there. They were just starting to line up the families to go in and have their picture made with Ariel, and DH asked the CM if the two girls could go up and say hi to her. They wouldn't let them. I don't think they had even taken one picture yet.
