Restaurant Advice

I haven't been to Disney World in years...my boyfriend and I are going this January...I have made several dining reservations, but would appreciate any advice/reviews anyone can give me about the following restaurants:

- Fulton's Crab House
- Teppan Edo
- Le Cellier
- Artist Point
- Ohana
- Donald's Safari Breakfast at Tusker House
- Sci-Fi Theater Restaurant

Teppan Edo was wonderful! We had a great chef and our entire party ages ranging from 60-2 had an awesome time and excellent food!

Ohana's - I'm not sure whether you're doing breakfast or dinner. We had dinner there and it was the biggest disappointment of our trip. Mostly it had to do with our server, but we had a very long wait past our ADR time, they sat our family of 9 at a table for 6, and even though we had 3 children we were sitting on top of each other. I could not even pull my chair up to the table. Our waiter pretended like he was one of the family even taking my sister's chair when she went to the restroom, but when she returned he was still sitting there and made no motion to get up. My father finally had to say "excuse me". Our drinks were not filled, we were brought a small amount of the different foods and weren't able to ask for more because our server was MIA. The only time he was very friendly was when he was giving us our check. Guess he figured he got the 18% no matter what he did. What he didn't realize is that we tipped over that when we got really good service (which we did at every other restaurant!). I might try them again at some point in my lifetime but with all the other great restaurants it will awhile.

Hey there,

I am going in January 2010 with my boyfriend as well. Can't wait!
Of the restaurants on your list, we've only been to Le Cellier. I think I can speak for the both of us when I say that it was one of the best meals we've ever had!
The pretzel breadsticks they serve before the appetizer was amazing! We split the appetizer trio, mushroom filet mignon and creme brulee. Every dish was absolutely delicious! We've even tried to recreate the risotto that came with the entree but to no avail, though our creation comes pretty close

Le Cellier is also one of the more popular restaurants at Disney, it certainly lives up to the hype.

We'll be dining at Ohana on our upcoming trip, too, and from the reviews I've read, it looks promising!
