so my lil girl will be 22 months when we go. i had budgeted to buy her a meal in the sit down restaraunts we will be going to but my mom said it would be a complete waste to spend 15 a meal when she wont eat it. could i just give her some of mine or can you just buy pasta or chicken for a child without the started and dessert. what did you do if you had a child under three

i totally have no problem buying her the food if she ate it. but i doubt she would.

In buffet meals all children under 3 eat for free you just pay for there drinks.

my DD is 2 and i usually buy her a meal if we are eating TS but if there are characters around she usually eats none of it lol. Which is why i like buffets as your only paying for youself and they get fed for free.

In the past I've taken food for my little one with me. I know it can be a pain to pack ... but, he seems to eat his toddler meals better than the food we eat. The ones I use are a US brand (Gerber) but it heats in 30 sec. in the microwave (they have those to use in the baby stations) and then I take the meal with me so we can eat together.

We are planning to make more use of the buffets. Makes it cheaper for the three of us to eat at a buffet at (for example) the Agrabah Cafe than it does for the three of us to eat at Annetes and it's not as much of a waste if Little Man doesn't actually eat much!

yeah i have been looking at some buffets, they suit me and my mom and ash perfectly they seem to have a good selection but i also have two picky teenagers who have deciced the buffet food looks gross lol. so i think i will have to compromise.

Give them 10 euros each and sent them off to McDonalds :lmao: :cool1:

haha that could be a good idea. i wanted to book walts and they complained when i showed them pics and they said ok book it sure we might eat something. yeah right im gonna spend that much on the off chance. im begining to think we may have to eat separately lol

on our last visit our little girl had just turned two and apart from the odd Mickey shaped pizza we never bought her her own meal, she invariably just shared some of mine and perhaps a little bit of daddies and none of us were hungry. I took additional snacks including the little yoghurt pot style cartons containing rice pudding, custard, baked beans, etc but she did alright just sharing ours. We've never tried any of the buffets so we may be tempted to give that a go next time :) Oh and as for awkward teenagers son and his girlfriend last year just went off and did their own lunch and it was only for our evening meal we ate together but they enjoyed their mini holiday of eating hot dogs, hamburgers, french fries, pizza, etc :teeth:
