We have a party of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids) traveling to WDW the first week of December. On our last night, I'd like to have a peaceful dinner at a resort restaurant, then walk outside (perhaps to a beach) to watch Wishes and the Electric Water Parade. What restaraunt would you suggest? Alternatively, what resort should I focus on: Polynesian or Grand Floridian or another resort?

I dont' think you can see much of Wishes from Wilderness Lodge. Electrical Water Parade you could.

I'd say Kona Cafe. If it weren't for your use of the word "peaceful" I'd have said 'Ohana.

The combination of Peaceful, Wishes, and Water pageant,& Resort restaurant is a hard recipe, so I have a couple of suggestions

1. Eat at the Wave then hop on the monorail to the Poly beach
2. Narcooses
3. Grand Floridian Cafe
4. Citricos any of the 2 TS credits restaurants at the resorts
SHOULD be peaceful

Try some of the EPCOT resorts also. Just hop on the monorail over to Poly and watch Wishes or the Wave at Contemp.

Kona Cafe is a great restaurant but it is not at all peaceful. In fact it is VERY NOISEY. But other wise it would be good choice.

1) Peaceful is a tough request.
2) With DDP, this is seldom possible anymore.
3) Just too many adults & kids that do not know how to act.
4) My ONLY suggestions are
. . . Citricos
. . . Grand Floridian Café
5) These are a little less traveled by the masses.
6) Narcoossee's / California Grille / Ohana are nice, but noisy.

Thanks for all of the great suggestions. I have two more days to figure it out (our ADR window opens on Sunday).
