Here are some reviews from our recent Disney trip:

Cast: me 36, hobby is vacation planning

Definetly our favorite breakfast. The food was excellent. I have a weakness for Mickey waffles. The meal is scrambled eggs, potatoes, biscuits, waffles, and fruit. My husband liked that it was served versus buffet. DS said "scrambled eggs, i like over easy" and I said, sorry scrabbled today. The waiter heard us and said "he can have over easy - I will get them for him". 2 minutes later he had 2 over easy eggs. The mickey waffles were refilled 3 times for DH and I! We went what is early for Disney (7:30) but late for us, and the place was still empty. Each charactor came at least twice. Mickey, Goofy, Dale, Chip

The food is excellent here. More Mickey Waffles!!. They have made to order omlets, cheese blitzes, and all sorts of other breakfast items. The service was fine and the characters were good. Pooh, Eyoore, Mary Poppins, Alice, the MaD Hatter.

Chef Mickeys

The best characters and interaction. Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, Pluto, Goofy. The food is good, not as good as some of the others but good. Mickey waffles (see a pattern?), Krispy Creme's!

This was a big disappointment for us. We waited longest here for our table (20 minutes). Once at our table, we did not see a charactor for 40 minutes (I am not lying). Then Pooh and Tigger came within a minute of each other. Piglet took a break at the table to our left and then restarted 2 down from us. At first no one believed the table next to us or my DH that he skipped us, then they said there was a costume malfunction (hum, janet jackson playing piglet now??). I will give the manager credit for giving us 2 free fast passes for the delay. Food was ok but nothing great.

Captain Hook's

Food B

Nice option for a quick self serve breakfast. The egg sandwhiches were good.

Will post Dinner Review separately.

Thanks for the reviews!
We had a similar experience at CP a few years back at dinner. We will not be returning there!

Thanks for the reviews!

I hope your review of Captain Cooks is a sign that they have improved recently. While we love everything about the Poly that was our 1 disappointment there(the egg sandwich being one of our bad meals there). Thanks for giving us hope. ;)

Great review - thanks! It's nice to read reviews of character breakfasts because that's our favorite kind of WDW meal! :D

The breakfasts sounded yummy.

1900 Park Fare is one of favorites.

I can't wait for your dinner reviews.

Enjoyed the reviews! I just read another thread that had character problems at CP and we did as well on our trip in March. I had thought maybe ours was an isolated incident. Hopefully they'll work out the kinks!!

This is surprising to hear considering the experience we had just a week earlier. Tigger and Pooh started in one direction, Eeyore started in the other and Piglet stayed right in the middle for you to visit with upon exiting. We found the character spacing to be excellent. Pooh accidentally skipped the table next to ours and the parents simply notified their waiter and he made sure that Pooh stopped by their table ASAP. It probably helped that we had an early PS (8:10 AM) and the restaurant slowly filled up as we were eating.
