I am wondering what happens if you have a reservation for lunch or dinner say at the CP and the park stopped letting people in because the park was already at capacity...will they let you in? Thank you..

I've never heard of the parks being closed for maximum capacity. Interesting question....

Yes, at times the parks do close do to capacity (generally on holidays - Christmas, New Years, July 4) and you will not be allowed in even if you do have reservtions to eat in that park.

If you're making the ADR for Christmas, New Year's Eve, or the 4th of July, that might be a concern. Any other days of the year, I would think you would not have a problem with park capacity at the Magic Kingdom.

They have and it is usually MK that gets closed first, because it is the most popular.

This year at Christmas, MK was closed late morning, until mid-afternoon for a couple of days.

If you have a lunch or dinner at CP on a very busy day like Christmas or Easter or another major holiday, it is best to plan to arrive at MK early and spend the day there. As PPs have said, you will not be allowed in, depending on which stage of closure MK is in at the time. This applies even if you have an ADR that charges a penalty for a no-show.

This info is good to know. I just had a bad thought of what if and I needed to search out the answer:) Thank you.
