ressie question

Hi,
If I make a ressie on points, can I extend the trip paying cash for any extra nights? If so,how early could I make the cash ressie and would I have to change rooms?

You have two ways to make cash ressies. Through member Services at a 25% DVC member discount or through CRO (at no or whatever discount might be available to public). Either of those can be made at about same time you make points ressie and then linked together (a little more complicated with separate CRO ressie but it can be done). However, if you are trying for the DVC member discount through MS, good luck. Rooms are seldom available for that program and almost impossible to get when trying to reserve many months out like at the 11 or 7 month window when you make your points reservation.
