Response for feedback?

I sent some feedback (two separate...one praises and one with our one complaint) to wdw.guest.communications@disney.com and have not gotten any response. Should I expect one? Should I send one via snail mail? I really expected some response...espeically b/c our one complaint was a pretty serious one (at least to moi). What has your experience been?

And what was it in regards to?
 
About two weeks ago. I sent two emails...one highlighted some good things and naming some CM's that were extra special and helpful to us. A second one adressed our disaster at the Ice Cream Social (suppose to be our re-hitching for our 10th anniversary...never happened). Just wondered if they would respond. I also have a mailing address...

Any thoughts?:confused:
 
JMO... I wouldn't expect a response for this. It's not that Disney doesn't consider it important, but they probably would treat it like a faux pas rather than a major problem. That's not to lessen the impact on you -- my DW and I did the rehitching ceremony for our 25th anniversary last year and it was a true magical moment. You celebrate anniversaries only once and it's not often you can celebrate major ones, like your 10th, at WDW. I know how special something like that can be.

I had a similar disappointment on our last trip in November. It took several attempts over several weeks to get management's attention -- this included emails, a letter and several telephone calls. I finally received some satisfaction from them, but I felt that I had to "prove my case" first.

If you feel it is very important to you, I would follow-up on it with a written letter (snail mail) -- sometimes this gets more attention -- and/or a telephone call or two.
 
I do know that other posters (myself included) have received responses from feedback/questions, but in many cases it was 4 - 6 weeks after the initial contact.
 
I did get an email today. It said:

Thank you for writing to the Walt Disney World. Resort.

We appreciate the time you took to contact us. We wanted to let you know
that we have received your comments and are reviewing them with the
areas concerned. You can expect to hear from one of our correspondents
within the next few weeks.

I also sent a letter via regular mail yesterday.:rolleyes:
