I was just wondering what resorts have fridges in them??? Do all the deluxes have them???

We stayed at POR and I can't remember if they had one or not. This time we are staying at a deluxe that we've never stayed at and were wondering if we would find a fridge in it. I guess I should say that it's the WL.

Thanks!

Yes all deluxes and moderates have fridges.

The frigs at both are the same size. A small dorm size one with no freezer. Plenty of room for water and drinks and some leftovers.

We are going to Disney in April and we are staying at a deluxe. We said we have two children but actually have three (8, 7 and 5). Has anyone ever done this before. It's so much more money if we have to stay in a suite or villa.

The Family Suites at All Star Music
has a fridge that is the larger under the counter dorm fridge. The fridge has small freezer on the top which was big enough to freeze my 3 small ice pacs for my meds. The area for the freezer is not very high. You might be able to put a couple of small water bottles in it to freeze them but a larger water bottle would not be able to fit in the freezer area.

First, welcome to the DIS Boards, but ......

OP, sorry to let this poster hijack your thread but I just have to respond.

I understand wanting to save money, but what you are doing is basically trying to cheat WDW. If money is an issue I don't understand why you are staying at a deluxe. Your child without a reservation will have no admission, and even though you could purchase a one day pass, this will run into a lot of $ doing it on a daily basis. In addition, if you are staying in a room with an occupancy limit of 4, WDW would be within their rights to tell you to leave. I'm not trying to be a meany, but I suggest you call CRO and admit your "forgetfulness" about your third child and have your reservation moved to a resort that is affordable for ALL of your family.

If you stay at the Polynesian, BC, YC, BWI, GF or Contemporary, you will be allowed to have five in the room. If you stay at WL, you will need a deluxe room. If you stay at AKL, they don't have standard rooms that sleep five and no longer have deluxe rooms (they were all converted to DVC villas).

If you stay in a resort that only allows four, one of the family will not have a room ID which you will need for EMH visits to the theme parks. Plus it is a violation of fire codes that have been implemented for the safety of all guests.

If Disney finds out that you actually have five in a room meant for four, you could be evicted from the room. I don't think you want to do that to your family.

Thanks for everyone's responses on this. I was thinking that all mods & deluxes had fridges but I didn't want to convince myself until I sought out the truth. I'm glad though since we will have a leftover birthday cake and we will want cold beverages too!
