Resorts that have a 24 hour pool?

I started a night owl thread over in Theme Parks and found out SSR has a 24 hr pool. I don't remember staying in a resort with a 24 hr pool but maybe we just didn't know about it! What Disney resorts have a late night swimming or 24 hr pool access?

Officially every pool closes. Some people still swim after the pool closes and most CMs will look the other way if you're quiet. But there aren't any pools open 24 hours.

They used to be open 24 hrs but a child drowned a few years (or more) ago and they started fencing in and closing the pools at night. At the poly oasis pool our experience was as long as you were in the pool before closing you could stay as long as you wanted, but if you left the gates would not open from the outside.

We have stayed at SSR several times in the Grandstand area. The signage says the pools close at midnight. Now, people may still be in it, but times are posted. I found this on Deb Will's site, it's from the Paddock area, but Grandstand was the same.

Its been a few years since I stayed there but I think the main pool at ft wilderness is 24 hours...or at least was. We took advantage of it one night.

ETA: I just checked allears & they are confirming both pools are 24 hours, tho lifeguards are not.

They actually have the pool hours posted. So they aren't officially 24 hours.

Yeah, sounds like they used to be & allears has some old info still appearing.

When we were at bc/yc in October and January we walked through the quiet pools late at night and they were still unlocked. So I think you probably could swim but it’s technically supposed to be closed

How late at night?
The BCV Dunes pool is posted as 7 - 11. I didn't try to get in after 11, so I am not sure.

As far as I've seen with my own eyes all pools without lifeguards on duty have gates but no locks. They have hours but are not enforced by anyone. They don't want them used but they don't tend to do anything to stop anyone from using the pools outside the posted hours, provided nothing unruly is going on and there are not minors involved. I haven't however, been to every quiet pool to verify they are all like this. But enough to figure they are.

Just to remind, Allears should never be taken as official policy source. or any blog site for that matter. They mean well of course but they are only human and sometimes forget to update their website when things change.

I can say that every night we were there last visit. May 2018. POP had folks in the pool at 0130. The above post is correct. If you are kinda quiet. It’s not really enforced.

Not anymore-POP's 3 Pools are gated and they are LOCKED and off-limits to Guests when the Lifeguards leave for the day.
