Resorts seem full 2/26 to 3/2

I have not booked a resort yet for a last minute trip 2/26 to 3/2. I originally thought that time frame wasn't to busy. However after looking online(with a lot of error messages when doing so) I have discovered a lot of rooms show not available. Is what I am seeing correct? Is it busy during those days? Like I said the website doesn't seem to be working correctly at the moment.

Mardi Gras is Feb. 28.

All of the Louisiana folk will be headed to WDW at that time.

The Princess half marathon is the 26th. Maybe people are staying after to celebrate?
